Self has never fit neatly inside one title. He is a Houston native, DJ, host, bartender and poet whose work is built around one instinct: knowing how to read a room.
As Self The DJ, he gives the room its rhythm. As Self The Bartender, he shapes the experience through hospitality, conversation and cocktails created with intention. As Self The Poet, he gives language to the emotions people often feel but struggle to name.
The tools may change—music, spirits or words—but the purpose remains the same: create a moment people can feel and an experience they will remember.
